Lacey is a devoted mother and wife; she has worked in the world of body work and energetics for over 20 years. After being raised in Utah and living in California, life has brought her and her family to the desert where they have grown and nurtured a beautiful community of friends and practitioners. Wellness and growth are focal points in every area of her life and she is here to support and hold space for those in many different ways.
Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) are an innovative way to release deep-seated stress and trauma stored in the body. Developed by Dr. David Berceli, this practice utilizes the body's natural tremoring mechanism to restore balance and calm the nervous system.

Most people feel gentle shaking, twitching, or vibrating in their legs or other parts of the body. The experience is often described as relaxing, soothing, or releasing — similar to how the body might naturally shake after stress.
The sessions are an hour long.
Wear something comfortable and easy to move in, like yoga clothes or sweatpants. You’ll be lying down and doing gentle movements, so choose clothing that helps you feel relaxed and at ease.
Many people feel benefits after just one session, but lasting results come with practice. Learning TRE® is like learning yoga or meditation — you can use it as a self-care tool for life.
I suggest working with a facilitator at least 3 times. This allows you to get to know the process and learn how you will respond to the practice.
TRE® is a self-care practice, not a replacement for therapy or medical treatment. It can complement counseling, bodywork, and other healing modalities.
